BOOKING & PAYMENT CONDITIONS INCLUDING CANCELLATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS

Package Payment

  • Initial Booking Deposit: Non-refundable deposit of Rs. 5,000/- per person upon enquiry or via online payment.
  • Full Payment: Required at least 30 days prior to departure.
  • Last-Minute Bookings: For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, 100% payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Documents: Tickets, hotel vouchers, transport vouchers, and tour documents will be issued 7 days prior to the departure date.

Package Cancellations

Cancellation fees apply from the date of tour commencement:

  • 45 to 30 days prior: 10% cancellation fee.
  • 29 to 16 days prior: 50% cancellation fee.
  • Less than 15 days prior: No refund.

Hotel Payment

  • Advance: 25% to confirm a booking.
  • Balance: 75% payable 30 days in advance.
  • Note: Policy may vary for specific properties. Wildlife lodges and spa resorts often require 100% payment for confirmation, especially during peak periods.

  • 45 to 30 days prior: 25% cancellation fee.
  • 29 to 16 days prior: 50% cancellation fee.
  • Less than 15 days prior: No refund.

Booking Process

  • Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
  • Tentative Bookings: Unpaid bookings are tentative and may be sold to other guests without notice.

Cancellation Policy

Requests must be emailed to our office.

  • 45 to 30 days prior: 25% cancellation fee.
  • 29 to 16 days prior: 50% cancellation fee.
  • Less than 15 days prior: No refund.

Transport Payment & Cancellations

Payment

  • Advance: 20% to confirm service.
  • Balance: 60% payable 30 days in advance.
  • Final: 20% on or before the tour commencement.

  • 29 to 16 days prior: 25% cancellation fee.
  • Less than 2 days prior: No refund.

Payment Methods

Payments can be made via Net Banking, Payment Gateway, RTGS/NEFT, or Demand Drafts payable to "World Tour and Travels". An official receipt will be issued upon payment.

Amendments & Cancellations

  • Client Amendments: Any change requests must be in writing. If changes result in cancellations, applicable charges will apply.
  • Third-Party Services: For air/train tickets or third-party products, cancellation terms of the respective service provider apply. World Tour and Travels reserves the right to charge service fees for processing these cancellations.

Refunds

  • Processing Time: Refunds (if any) take at least 15 days to process.
  • Method: Refunds are paid via NEFT/RTGS or Crossed Cheque to the client.
  • No Refund: There is strictly no refund for unutilized services (meals, entrance fees, hotels, sightseeing, etc.) for any reason.

Conditions of Travel

  • Itinerary Adherence: Clients must strictly follow the tour program. No refunds for late joining or early departure.
  • Client Responsibility: It is the client's duty to reach the starting point on time. Failure to do so results in a "No Show" with 100% cancellation charges.
  • Behavior: We reserve the right to withdraw tour membership from anyone whose behavior affects the group's safety or enjoyment.
  • Insurance: Travel insurance is optional but highly recommended. Clients should procure it at their own cost.

Pricing & Liabilities

  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to amend prices due to fuel costs, taxes, or supplier hikes before departure. Clients must pay the difference.
  • Liabilities: World Tour and Travels is not liable for death, injury, sickness, theft, or loss of baggage. We act solely as an organizer and are not responsible for independent contractors (hotels, airlines, transporters).
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or other events beyond our control.

Itinerary Changes

  • We may reverse or amend itineraries for safety or convenience.
  • If a participant misses sightseeing due to personal delay, no refund is applicable.

Hotel & Transport Details

  • Hotels: Names listed are indicative. We reserve the right to provide similar alternatives if necessary.
  • Transport: Chauffeurs will hold placards at arrival. Contact us immediately if you cannot locate your driver.

Airline Policy

  • Fares: Contracted airfares are generally non-refundable.
  • Responsibility: We are not liable for flight delays, cancellations, baggage loss, or overbooking by airlines.
  • Baggage: Excess baggage charges are the client's responsibility.

Disclaimer & Jurisdiction

  • Adventure Activities: Participation in trekking, safaris, or water sports is at the client's own risk.
  • Jurisdiction: All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mysore, India.

Declaration: By booking with World Tour and Travels, the client accepts these Terms & Conditions in full.
